With my whole heart
With my whole heart

When you understand Who God is, your world changes.  When you can catch even the smallest glimpse of His tremendous Glory, everything that is within you cries out Hallelujah– I love You LORD!  Is there anyone more glorious than our God?  Is there any knowledge more magnificent than that of knowing that God has revealed  His heart to us? My soul’s desire is fixed on the reaching out for His purely un-defiled and precious love.

In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. Psalm 18:6

Through years of walking with the Lord He has been so good to me.  I have a wonderful, godly and loving husband and four daughters who are more than I could have ever dreamed or deserved.  Still, we as a family and I personally have suffered many hard trials.  For His glory, my sufferings have taught me to stop loving, yes even worshiping, myself.  I have been delivered from the need to please  man and from the fear of rejection.  Praise the Lord, I have even lost the appetite for chasing after the gods of this wicked world.  The truth is that I sought these temporal pleasures because I was blind, but the Lord caused the scales to fall from my eyes and I came to the place of realizing that there truly is none greater than Jesus.  When I call Him He hears me and He cares about  my joy and my pain.  Regardless of my circumstances, He knows just what to do and say.  He has won my heart, swept me off my feet and I will always love Him.  The mere thought of Him coming for me, causes a wave of sweet roller coaster type shrill in the pit of my belly to sweep over my heart as a renewed loneliness that only His presence can heal rises within me.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  John 14:23

Christian, hold on tightly to the agape (love) that your Father has ordained and poured out on you and on all those who will believe. Please don’t let the world seize the true nature and beauty of Christ’s love for you.  He loved you enough to give His life.   The Father loved you enough to send and sacrifice His only Begotten Son and the Spirit of God is with you through thick and thin because a friend loves at all times.

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. John 13:1

The redeemed of the Lord are sealed and secured by and for the Lord.  He is worthy of our devotion and undying, tenderly passionate, love.  While we wait on Him, we ought to be in breathless expectation about His coming.  Our every moment should be consumed, on one level or another, with the hope of His glorious return and the revelation of all He has prepared for us because of His sacrificial love for us.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John 14:23

My greatest desire is that I be pleasing in His sight.  I love Him—I don’t want anything or anyone more than I want Jesus.  I think I’m in love.  Finally I think I understand—as well as my puny mind can—what it means to love and be loved unconditionally.  I surrender all that I might be used to the uttermost for His own glory and purpose.  I’m thankful to God for giving me that testimony.

My Jesus has written His love letter to me and I keep it with me all the time.  He loved me so much that He laid down His life—shedding His precious blood.  Yes, I would say that is love worth finding.  In case there is any confusion about my passion here it is, it is all wrapped up in loving Jesus back.
